We got excellent workers, better carpet and paid less than half of what we paid for one room from empire.
I will never use empire again.
None of the problems were resolved.
Empire sent out a rep.
In the almost 3 yrs.
We were sent from one customer service to installation manager to another.
Seems like you never even gave this company a chance to perform.
Yes they price by the job, but at least better than home depot or lowes where they dollar you to death.
And this takes 4 to 5 days to set up.
Padding, underlayment, removal of old stuff, disposal of old stuff, installation fees, furniture moving fees, and on and on.
I never even got my real price until my job was done and i got the unexpected bill.
It took weeks for my job to get scheduled and they changed the date 2 times.
Since these companies use sub contractors, you never know who is going to show up at your doorstep.
My guy expressed that he had to get my job done by 5pm as he was on house arrest and had to be home in time for that.
When i called hd to complain.
I was told to, take it up with my installer.
I called for an estimate and at no charge i had a representat way to blow smoke up your own ass!
This company is a sham, hi pressure sales people, subpar product.

Denise dering was on site for the installation and wa my installers came without a vacumn cleaner and left glue all over my walls.

Empire thinks i should pay to have someone come out to stretch it they claim that carpet needs to be stretched once a year.
They absolutely refused to make it right on thier dime even though they are absolutely at fault.
